Resolved Question: Where best to stay in Atlanta, Georgia when visiting Zoo and Aquarium?

I plan to visit Atlanta, mostly to see the zoo and aquarium but am unsure of the best location to visit both. I'd prefer not to stay in the Downtown area because I hate paying for parking (although I'll happily pay another $20 a night on a room in a better hotel, it doesn't have to make sense I just feel I'm being cheated).
